The Crowne Plaza Docklands is situated right in the heart of London and perfectly located for business trips into the city as well as visitors to the O2 Arena, ExCeL Exhibition Centre and Canary Wharf. As many guests use trains and the underground to travel to the hotel, the onsite car park had a number of underutilised spaces. The hotel management team recognised they had the opportunity to fill these empty spaces with non guest use, especially when events were being held in the nearby venues. But they needed a way to reach these new drivers.


The Solution

In 2018 the hotel management team worked with JustPark to place ten of its parking spaces onto the platform. With JustPark being used by over 5m drivers in the UK, the spaces quickly started to be booked and an important additional revenue stream was created for the hotel.
