We understand how complex it can be to run on and off-campus parking. Each university has its own ecosystem with unique parking requirements for different parts of the campus – just like a city.

That’s why we’ve designed a platform that can accommodate specific rules for each car park, as well as the requirements for staff, students, visitors and contractors.

With our technology, universities can tell our system when there’s an open or graduation day in advance and offer free or discounted parking to visitors.

We believe parking should work around university requirements – not the other way around. And that’s why the University of Bath chose us as their parking partner.

The opportunity

The University of Bath has five car parks, totalling 2,237 spaces. Up until we partnered with them, they had 18 Pay and Display machines and no cashless payment solution. That meant all students, staff, visitors and permit holders needed the exact amount of cash to pay for their parking.

The solution

We implemented our cashless solution in June 2018, allowing drivers to pay for parking with our app. We created special location codes to accommodate each car park’s unique rules and cater for different groups, such as permit holders and weekend visitors.

We integrated with the existing enforcement company, First Parking, and within five days we completed all testing and quality assurance.

The results

• Our cashless parking solution went live 18 days after our first meeting with the University of Bath
• Their car park payment service consistently gets a 4.6 star rating out of 5
