The Autumn Nations Series (sometimes referred to as just the Autumn Internationals) is an annual rugby union competition held in November, featuring some of the world's top national teams. It provides a platform for international rivalries to be renewed and emerging stars to showcase their talent.

What sets it apart?
Unlike the Six Nations Championship, which only includes the premier European teams England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France and Italy, the Autumn Nations Series welcomes teams from both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres. This creates a unique opportunity to witness thrilling "North vs South" clashes, testing playing styles and strategies from different regions.
Who's playing?
The competition involves the "Big Three" Southern Hemisphere teams - current world champions South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia - along with Argentina, Fiji and Japan, touring the Northern Hemisphere nations. This year, with the 2025 British & Irish Lions tour of Australia approaching, players will be aiming to impress national selectors and secure a coveted spot on the touring squad.
When and where?
Weeks 1 & 2 are already over with quite a few high-scoring affairs happening already. This coming weekend will be week 3 with two more weeks of matches following until the end of November.
