Sustainability is at the core of COP26 — the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference — coming to Glasgow on Sunday. Govan
Availability: 25 parking space
Where it’s located: Just over 20 minutes by train from the SEC and within reasonable walking distance, parking here will keep you within the vicinity of the conference and allow you to attend after-event networking dinners without worrying about running out of time on a parking meter.
Toryglen
Availability: 30 parking spaces
Where it’s located: Parking here brings you 40 minutes from the conference by public transit, with a number of notable hotels just north of the river for easy access.
Bearsden
Availability: 25 parking spaces
Where it’s located: The ASDA Bearsden Superstore brings you just under 40 minutes from the SEC by ScotRail directly to the venue.
Chesser
Availability: 20 parking spaces
Where it’s located: Travellers coming in from Edinburgh can park in Chesser and catch a direct train into the exhibition centre, avoiding the roadblocks, security and crowds surrounding the venue.
Blantyre
Availability: 25 parking spaces
Where it’s located: With a direct line to the venue via ScotRail, this location is near the University of the West of Scotland campus, allowing any student attendees or professors an easy line into the event vicinity.
Linwood
Availability: 23 parking spaces
Where it’s located: Located just a five minute drive from the Glasgow airport and near the several railway stations, the ASDA Linwood Superstore is convenient for international visitors, with a one-hour train bringing you directly to the venue.
Robroyston
Availability: 27 parking spaces
Where it’s located: Robroyston is easily accessible by public transport and can bring you to the SEC through a number of options. For this location, we recommend planning your commute in advance and checking bus schedules for the best route.
