After a career-topping month for Kendrick Lamar — with an awards sweep at the Grammys for his diss track ‘Not Like Us’ and a pot-stirring performance at the Super Bowl — he has now announced his UK tour dates for 2025 alongside SZA.

He last performed in the UK in November of 2022 at the O2 Arena in London and the AO Arena in Manchester, marking his last appearances in the UK before a brief hiatus. In 2025, Lamar is returning with performances scheduled in Glasgow, Birmingham, London, and Cardiff in July.

He’ll be playing four dates across the UK:

When do tickets go on sale?

The Grand National Tour tickets go on sale Friday 14th February 2025 on Ticketmaster. Some presale codes for O2 Priority members, Mastercard holders and a few other VIP groups will be released at earlier dates — make sure to check your subscriptions to see if you qualify.

We recommend getting online as early as you can that morning, since Ticketmaster’s queuing system can start adding people hours ahead of the sale time.

How much are tickets expected to cost?

General access tickets for most tour dates are expected to be in the £100 - £400 range. But if the demand for tickets is anything like the Oasis reunion tour coming later this year, expect to have lots of resale tickets being sold for upwards of £500.

Book a parking space ahead of time for the Grand National Tour in Glasgow

Considering the thousands of people who will be travelling to London for the 2025 Grand National Tour, you’ll want to make sure your parking is sorted well ahead of time.

The simplest and most convenient option for parking for most concert-goers would be to download the JustPark app and rent a private driveway or find a secure parking space in a car park nearby. Not only will it save you time and money on the day-of, but it will also give you guaranteed access to a parking space near Hampden Park National Stadium and can offer flexibility that other traditional car parks can’t.

Using the JustPark app or website, you can search, find and reserve a space which should tick most of your boxes when looking for parking:

  • You can search for spaces within walking distance of the stadium and get more affordable rates than local car parks or unsecured pop-up parking
  • You should be able to escape the crowds more easily leaving your car in a slightly less congested area
  • You can extend your parking session easily through the JustPark app if you’re facing delays getting out of the stadium crowds
  • You can have peace of mind knowing that you’ve got a guaranteed parking space upon arrival

This tour is expected to be massively popular, so we recommend booking a parking space as soon as your tickets are secured so you don’t miss out on available options. If you’re travelling from out of town and will be staying multiple nights in Glasgow, make sure you extend your parking session for as long as you need it for.

Does Hampden Park offer official car parking?

Yes, Hampden Park does offer official car parking, but spaces are limited and typically reserved for permit holders, VIPs, and mobility-assisted visitors on event days. General parking around the stadium is restricted, and road closures often apply.

If you're attending an event, it's best to check with the venue in advance or consider alternative parking options nearby, such as JustPark locations, public transport, or park-and-ride services.

Park nearby and take public transport to the stadium

Parking close to Hampden Park can be limited on event days, so driving directly to the stadium isn’t always the best option. Instead, consider parking further out and using Glasgow’s public transport network to reach the venue. Below are some of the best routes to get you there smoothly:

Train services

  • Mount Florida Station – Just a five-minute walk from the stadium, with regular trains from Glasgow Central (journey time: approx. 10 minutes).
  • Kings Park Station – Another nearby option, around 10 minutes on foot from the stadium.

Bus Services

Several bus routes serve the Hampden Park area, including:

  • First Bus 5, 6, 7, and 75 – Connecting Glasgow city centre to the Southside, stopping near the stadium.
  • McGill’s 31 and 34A – Providing links from surrounding areas.

Subway & Park-and-Ride

  • Glasgow’s Subway system doesn’t directly serve Hampden Park, but you can park at Bridge Street Subway Station and take a short train or bus ride to the stadium.

For the easiest journey, check live travel updates and plan your route in advance.

Take the train into Glasgow to avoid congestion on busy roads

If you're travelling from outside of Glasgow, taking the train can help you avoid heavy traffic and the challenge of finding parking near Hampden Park. Here are some convenient park-and-ride options for different routes into the city:

From Edinburgh: Park at Edinburgh Waverley or Haymarket Station, where frequent trains run to Glasgow Central in around 50 minutes.

From the North: Stirling Station offers direct trains to Glasgow Queen Street in approximately 35 minutes, with parking available nearby.

From the South: Kilmarnock Station provides regular services to Glasgow Central in about 40 minutes, making it a good option for those travelling from Ayrshire.

From the West: Paisley Gilmour Street Station is a key hub with frequent trains to Glasgow Central in just 10 minutes, ideal for those coming from Renfrewshire.

Once in Glasgow, you can take a short train ride from Glasgow Central to Mount Florida Station, which is just a five-minute walk from Hampden Park. Alternatively, buses and taxis are available from the city centre.

Do you live in Glasgow? Rent out your driveway for extra income

Even if you’re not attending the concert yourself, you can still benefit from the surge of crowds coming into the city to see Kendrick and SZA. It’s been proven that local residents who live nearby busy sports or music venues see their annual income increase by 57% by renting out their driveways to event-goers, be it sports fans or music enthusiasts.

If you’re a homeowner near Hampden Park and have a driveway with extra space, simply rent out your driveway to earn a side income and benefit those in need of car parking; it’s as easy as that. You can set your availability and pricing so you’re in full control of your space.
