Perfect parking space near to Stansted Airport. Ian gave very clear & thorough instructions as to where to park, via text the night before I was due to arrive. My car felt very safe, as it wasn't visible from the road & the driveway isn't obvious to someone who wouldn't be looking for it. It's only a short walk from the bus stop where there are multiple buses that will take you to Stansted. I'd read about the chickens in previous reviews & it made me chuckle that one was in my parking spot when I got there. I've never had a chicken parking attendant before! As much as I don't like flappy things, I got out of my car & politely explained that I needed to park my car & didn't want to run it over. It very kindly vacated the space & I easily parked. The spaces aren't too close together, so you have some room for manoeuvre. I came back in the dark & although the driveway is away from the road, there are motion sensor lights that's come on. Very helpful! :-) I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this as a place to park & will certainly be looking at booking again if I need to fly from Stansted.

Excellent parking spot very close to the airport we walked it on the way back from airport, easy walk of around 2 miles all on pavements and safe, with some friendly chickens. Would use this again for Stansted parking without hesitation

All ok as far as the parking itself was concerned (which we found very safe) and the communication with the owner, we paid about £74.00 for an 8 and ½ days stay mid-August, quite convenient generally speaking compared to the Stansted official car parks. However, you should consider how you're going to STN back and forth, our OUTBOUND flight was in the afternoon, so we went by bus (n.305) using a stop located within walking distance, it cost us £2.00 for two adults, our children were not charged, great! Our INBOUND flight instead, arrived at STN after 23:00, no more buses at this time, we had to pay an outrageous £27.00 for a cab ride with Associated Taxis, which took less than 10 mins to go back to Takeley, of which £20.00 was the cab cost and £7.00 was the STN drop-off/pick-up charge. The overall total was therefore £103.00. Also, we had to wait almost 40 mins for our cab to turn up as there were PLENTY of other people waiting. I should have checked this last expense in advance, had I known before I would have reconsidered parking at STN official car park as the cost (when I had checked back in May) was not too far off £103.00. Obviously, had our inbound flight been earlier, returning by bus to Takeley would have been again an extra £2.00, bringing the overall total to a very acceptable £78.00, so do your maths beforehand.

Would definitely use this space again for parking. Whole process was easy to understand and find and couldn’t have been easier to get to and from the airport. Highly recommend.
