Space description

Suitable for wide vehicles
Several spaces available at the farm, this space is closest for joining the Llanberis path for Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon, or going via the valley of Maesgwm for the Snowdon Ranger path. You can walk from the farm to join the main Llanberis path near Hebron which is quarter way up Snowdon.
The parking also offers direct access for the Moel Eilio group.
PLEASE NOTE these are off-road parking spaces on stone/gravel. Maybe unsuitable for sporty type/low cars. Ideal for overnight stays, self contained units only, but contact via text please for longer stays.
We suggest you pre plan your walking route carefully, and look to see where we are on a map before booking.
This is private parking and not in any way connected with Pen Y Pass parking.
Parking is entirely at your own risk.
Please read the instructions on how to access the space, you will need to follow the directions carefully and may need to open a gate or 2.
Plenty of short walks or all day circular walks are available from here, including part of the Pilgrims path, Cwm Dwythwch Lake and the Llanberis waterfalls are just a few minutes away.
To access Snowdon you continue up the tarmac road, stay on the tarmac until you reach the bridle path. Turn left onto BP. After the concrete bridge, take the next gate to your left and follow this path across to Snowdon, this route cuts out the steep tarmac hill from the village and you join Snowdon at quarter way up. For the Ranger path you simply carry on along the bridle path through the valley.

Reviews about this space

Lovely spot to park, sunset hike, especially for the Llanberis or Ranger path up Yr Wyddfa. Simply walk to the top of the tarmac road and turn left after the gate, you can see the Llanberis path with people walking up and down from there and from where you park. You can join the path just 100m or so past the cafe on the Llanberis path. Just follow the instructions they send when you book. Fantastic views and just the sheep and horses for company, very quiet at night.
Will be back in 6 months and this is the place I will park the van.

The instructions were great and the parking place was easy to find (also checked street view before arriving). The parking area is bigger than last satellite image, flat with good ground.
We used as jump off point for hike to Yr Wyddfa summit via Llanberis, and it worked well. The track and footpaths to Hebron station were mostly hard tracks, but a couple of boggy areas to cross. The stream you cross is bridged, and the few fences with stiles. Nice to have the first and last part of the walk quieter, distance about same as main car park. Just plan ahead and have a map to hand.

Directions on finding the space was spot and clear and easy to follow. Only thing I would say was maybe to also include directions to get on to the track for snowdon when you’ve left your vehicle. Felt vechile was safe.

Perfect location and takes the worry away from finding a space in the village. If you follow the instructions provided by the space owner it's really easy to find. Would definitely recommend.
