Parking on Castle Street, CB3

You should aim for 'Castle Row' to access the space, rather than following the directions that mention 'Castle Street'. Once you're on Castle Row, refer to the photos to find the exact spot. As long as you do that, it’s easy to find and access, and it's great space to park!

Unfortunately I arrived to find the car that is next to the space in the picture was cut across and blocking access to it, so I had to park out of position and was late for the half marathon. Oh well

It would be helpful to have more published information regarding how to access this parking space. The address is on a busy main road with no direct access to rear of property, where the parking space is. I had to use Google satellite view to find a route to the rear of property, this was not direct as there are one-way streets. There are 3 published photographs which help find the space when you do find the lane, however there is limited space to manoeuvre and a protruding wall makes this awkward to park in to. I think this would be more difficult if a car was parked in the adjacent space. My door mirror had been folded back when i returned. It would be helpful if the space was labelled in some way, even if only the house number. The space is close to the city centre, so OK once you work out how to get to the space and if you have a fairly small car.
