Car Park 1 is right on the airport grounds, around a 4-5 minute walk to the terminal. It's great for travellers with reduced mobility too, with dedicated assistance on hand at all times.
When you arrive the barrier will rise automatically, allowing you to drive in and park. Then you just need to walk to the terminal, keeping your keys with you while you're away
Accessibility
Car Park 1 has designated Blue Badge bays for travellers with reduced mobility, along with a Special Assistance call point which is linked to the terminal's service desk. There's also a sheltered area where you can wait for them to meet you.

Early or late? The car park offers a grace period of 3 hours at their discretion. Any longer than this and you'll be charged the car park's standard rate of £25 per day. This is subject to change.

Most standard cars (without trailers/not commercial vehicles/not minibuses) will be accepted at the car park as long as they fit in a standard-size parking bay (2.4m x 4.8m).
From 1st October 2024, the Short Stay car park will become Car Park 1.
