Car Park at Helmont House

Good price and just a short walk to our Hotel. To find the carpark you must drive along a number of 'access only' roads. This is not apparent in the instructions. It says just small vehicles but we did see a transit van. We couldn't find a lift or a level route out of the carpark, just steps leading up to outside of a Premier Inn. Not an issue for us with a couple of small bags but perhaps it should be clear that there is not a lift or level access for those with buggies or disability.

It was quite good but space a bit tight.

With the city traffic direction, it seems there is only one way to get to the parking and it took me 30 minutes to navigate to the parking even though I can see it right beside me on my sat nav.

Easy to find and simple instructions,

This was an absolute nightmare of an evening. Me and my partner both booked spaces to park our cars here. We couldn’t get onto the street where the car park entrance is due to bus lanes and a one way system. We spent over an hour stuck in traffic doing loops because both postcodes couldn’t navigate you in (yes there’s two on the advice they give you which is extremely unhelpful). Tried to call the customer service line but it was just automated and useless. We both had to abandon this and find alternative parking as we were over an hour late and were fed up of being taken round the mill costing us an absolute fortune!!!! Will not be using this again or recommend it.

We didn't find the car park easily, Due to the many one way streets in Cardiff centre. Also didn't appreciate carrying suitcases up and down the steep steps to get onto the street level.

Quite hard to find missed it twice. Good for small cars. Couldn't understand security guards instructions and couldn't find the stairs out so we had to walk up the ramp which we were told off for
