The space is located in a new estate - Forge Wood in Crawley (West Sussex) on a private shared drive. Just around the corner from Gatwick Airport making it a perfect alternative to airport parking, with 10 mins journey in a taxi to the airport.
* The space IS NOT ADJACENT to the house, it is located ROUND THE CORNER from the house. Please check the Google Maps images for directions to the space upon arrival into the estate, as some sat navs still do not accurately navigate to the address. There are two routes (yellow and green) how to arrive to the parking space, also sign posting where our house is located as you will be arriving to the house number listed on the space, but you need to drive round the corner to the drive.
* It is a shared drive with total of 9 parking spaces - 3 parallel parking spaces for each household, therefore please be considerate to the neighbours and also consider that another 2 cars will need to fit in front of your parked car.
* As shown in the photos, the space is located AGAINST THE GARAGE in the MIDDLE LANE (of the 3 lanes of parking). Please park as close as possible against the WOODEN PALLET.
* As you arrive to the shared drive, use the MIDDLE lane and go all the way towards to the GARAGE, until you are near the wooden pallet.
* Night lighting for late night /early morning parking as shown on the photos.
* No CCTV.
* No size or height restrictions.
* Short distance to Gatwick Airport (approx.. 8-10 mins drive) and Three Bridges/Horley/Gatwick train station for connections to London (approx. 6/10/10 mins).
* This is new estate, so the area is safe and well looked after by the community.
* Please note that local taxi companies increased their prices due to fuel price increase and new £5.00 drop-off/pick-up charge at Gatwick Airport - the fare will depend on the company you choose and time of the travel. Please check before you book. Popular Crawley taxi companies:

Margita was extremely helpful. She gave all the information needed to find the parking space and organize a taxi to and from our car. Met her and her husband briefly, and both were very friendly and polite. Would absolutely use her space again!

Convenient parking for Gatwick, easy to find with clear parking instructions. It's a shared drive but the owner moved their personal cars for easy way in and out. We took a bus to Gatwick and Taxi back (taxi was £20), which is more than we thought, but still cheaper than airport parking. Will use again in few months

Parking space is surrounded by cars. Just managed to squeeze out when I arrived at 3am. Don't think I'll use it again. Be warned if you are due to return to your vehicle at an odd hour you may be trapped!!! Also, cost over £40 for a cab to and from airport.

The owner sent the instruction how to find the parking space straight after booking. Good space on a large drive. Others car on that drive but no trouble getting in and out of the space. Taxi to Gatwick less than 10 mins, used to be cheaper but with petrol prices is now round £18-20. Will be parking here again for work trips

Great spot for Gatwick airport parking.
In a nice new estate, so felt safe.
Space itself on a private drive, so felt secure, there was outdoor lighting too.
Instruction from the owner were clear how to find the space and how to park. Will definitely use again.
Taxi to/from airport was about £20 - I used Alpha, pre-booked via their app.

On arrival back from holiday to pick up the car. Found scratches front,side and back. Looked like someone had to squeeze pasted ??. Otherwise no explanation of how this damaged occurred whilst away.
