Parking on Chapel End, CM6

The actual parking spot was fine but on the app it said it was a 25 minute walk when it was a 45-50 minute walk and there wasn't an actual sidewalk to get to the airport. It was a dual carriageway so if you are parking your car here then definitely book a taxi/ Uber in advance as we had to walk 15 minutes before booking it as we came at 3am.

Not the easiest of places to find, had to park right round the back on uneven ground no lighting , we ended up not parking and left as to walk to the airport from there was far to dangerous down country lanes with no pavements to walk, on and in my opinion would take 45 mins to walk, was un able to get a Uber due to no signal and had tried to order the night before also but was unavailable for pick up at the parking address. would definitely not recommend if you have an early flight due to how dangerous it would be to walk to the airport.

The parking space was very difficult to find. No signs at the front of the property and even for the uber driver was difficult to find it. No bus stops nearby, the bus driver had no idea where the closest stop would be. The vehicle parking space was terrible, back of the building with lots of big rocks on the pavement, and big machinery working around the area. John, the owner, was very rude and racist towards me. He didn't want to explain how the corner of my vehicle has gotten some new, big scratches. He was also very aggressive towards me as a result of my complaining. He didn't seem to be interested in talking or listening to me at all and he didn't even care that my car got damaged whilst parked on his property. The location is not safe because contractors working very closely to the vehicles ,and that's why my vehicle it has been damaged

The spaces at the back of the house are on very uneven rubble surface, unsuitable for cars with low ground clearance. Also unsuitable for travelling on a Sunday, as there are few or no public transport links to the area east of the airport. Check busses timetables before booking.

Is very hard to go to aeroport in night

Parking is full of stone and trees around making it tight too park. No wifi signal and overpriced for parking.

If you have an quite early or late flight, the bus service do not run. So be mindful of this. So you may have to make alternative transportation arrangements. A taxi from the parking site to the airport is responsible. But from Stansted back you will pay 5x the price.

Decent parking at decent price but did not show how poorly paved and laid out lot was. Also it was full but for one awkward space so nearly let me down to

Easy to find location, phone signal as described by host is weak in the area so any taxi bookings, bus timetables etc need to be organised before arriving to park. Host kindly gave us a lift to the airport as next bus was not due for another 30-40mins and he happened to drive past. Very kind indeed! If I was being picky, some trip hazards in rear parking area could do with being removed as someone is likely to fall and maybe hurt themselves. On return leg, we arrived just after midnight so took a taxi back, this cost around £25 via "the official taxi provider to Stanstead" in case anyone is planning to do the same and wants to know rough cost.
