I had a family night out at a fireworks event in Durham city. I knew it was going to be busy and parking would be the main stresser of the evening. I’d never heard of Just Park before until it came up on my search for suitable parking near the event. We ended up at a hotel car park which really surprised me as I didn’t think this would be possible.
I drove in and spoke to reception who stated that all was taken care of via the app. We parked up and had a short walk to the event. I will definitely use this app again. If you are like me and have family to sort then this is a must for any trips out.

It was a bit difficult manouvering to fit our long wheel base vivaro (approximately 5.4m) into a parking space, some of the spaces are very narrow and it did not help that some cars were not properly parked but overlapping into adjacent spaces.

I parked my car up and spoke with receptionist . All good .Turn right and the right to get back onto the road again.

Parking space neither specified nor guaranteed/reserved. Hotel/spa guests and paying members of the public also had access to any available space in car park. Instructions by Reception upon arrival were simply to "park in any available space": what would have happened had no space been available (as nearly happened at one point during my stay)?
