Parking on North Bank Street, EH1

No problem parking here . Second time I have parked in this space. Patrick is always on hand if you need to discuss any worries or woes. Would use again, and the cheapest in the area.

Very rude owner! Once we arrived we realised the space was alot smaller than we thought. We had concerns about getting back out. Infront there tied up metal fences, so we rang the owner to ask if when we got back he would open them so we could drive forward rather than reverse. He did not answer, so I messaged saying we were concerned about getting bk out, once we left the space he was quick to message us with photos which he'd took measuring with a tape measure from the wheel to the curb, and said there is nothing wrong with the space it's your driving skills! the owner has put a metal stump in the middle of the space so he can lock his gates onto it, because he would not answer the phone so we could ask to drive forward we had no choice but to reverse this caused the metal stump to ripp the entire plastic protector from underneath the car off, we had a 3 hour drive home in the rain with some of the plastic dragging on the ground, the other ripped off in the boot. He had no reply when I told him. If he'd just opened the fence to let us drive forward there would be no issue, He did say however if I wrote a bad review he would get me band from just parkAVOID! Space Owner comments: Andrea phoned once, I did not answer as I was on the toilet. I took photos of Andrea’s car later as it was wrongly parked. I shared them with Andrea as proof, she shared no evidence with me. I agree with almost all of the other reviewers, and what they say, is true. I ask you to read the listing before you book this parking space, or any other. I emphasise, this space is not for low lying vehicles, or vehicles with low-profile tyres, gliding so close to the ground they are almost scraping along.

Ended up having to park somewhere else the parking was awful i git a big range rover and there was not enough space someone should look at it is not someone driveaway mire like a piece if ground where it should be illegal to park - 'Space Owner Reply': Daniel booked the space last minute. It is available to medium-sized cars, measuring less than 440cm in length and 182cm in width. Daniel's Range Rover Velar, is as he says, big. It's 12% longer (479cm) and 10% wider (204cm) than the vehicles this space is advertised for. I second JustPark's recommendation that before booking, customers should carefully review the listing and photos

Close to the Castle and the Royal Mile. Finding the parking space might be a bit of a challenge if you are not familiar with the area. Once found, it is a good, protected spot.
