The postcode provided lead me to a council depot carpark. Unfortunately for me, the barrier was faulty and so open all day. I didn't know the area and presumed this to be the whitehouse carpark. Luckily I returned just in time to see staff closing the gates. I explained my situation and they said hopefully the company won't prosecute me. Unbeknownst to me, was unlawfully parked for 9 hours! Better signage and additional wording on the website could have prevented this. I really wanted this to be a positive experience as I'd like to use the right carpark in the future.
