CitiPark - Merrion Centre & First Direct Arena Car Park

Nightmare getting out of the car park. Stationary for almost 50 minutes

The car park and parking facilities were first class the booking system straight forward and easy to use Unfortunately for the car park owners Leeds city Council have made it a nightmare for visitors to the city to negotiate a route to the park without picking up a fine for accidently using bus lanes, travelling around Leeds city centre is a nightmare

Faultess - just drive in park then leave again no fuss

The only problem using the car park opposing The Leeds Arena is that it takes over 90 minutes to exit as Leeds private hire and taxis seem to hijack the road to collect their fares. Great for them, frustrating for the vehicle driver.

I could not get into the carpark when I went to collect my car at 9pm because an entry ticket was required. And no entry ticket was provided because the barrier opened automatically on entry to the carpark. Luckily there was a call button on the entry panel and the attendant let me into the car park.

Got charged on site anyway! Waste of money!

Easy to find. Great location. Easy to navigate website.

I had pre booked in a multi-storey car park, and when I arrived the barrier did not automatically open as it was described, I needed to get a ticket- upon leaving I was asked to pay again. I was glad that the attendants in the car park were helpful and once he saw my booking allowed me to go through the exit barrier. A little frustrating that it didn’t work smoothly.

Easy breezy. Car park was easy to spot, the address on the website took us straight to the car park with no issues. No need to enter any codes on entry or exit. Car park felt safe, was clean, well lit and with clear signs directing around the car parks and to the exits.

Pre booking parking made the whole experience stress free.
