Q-Park John Lewis Car Park

Purchased a space at the John Lewis car park in Liverpool which cost me £21, was given instructions what to do on arrival. Got there and the gate refused the QR code so I had to press for a ticket. On leaving I called the company because I expected something not to work again, they assured me that everything was good and the barrier would auto open and let me out. They said if there is an issue call at the gate and they would remote open it for me. Get to the exit and the gate won't open, so I call them, they make me go through all my details again while blocking the exit, they then tell me they don't have a remote open for that car park and that I need to go to a pay point to pay with the ticket instead. I now have to reverse my car out of a one way car park exit while loads of cars are trying to leave and keep blocking me in. Eventually I get to a pay point and put in my ticket, it only costs £13 for the entire time I had booked, so why did I pay £21 online? So now I have paid £34 for one days parking and the machine won't give me a receipt to prove payment. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY THEY WILL OVER CHARGE YOU AND RUIN YOUR DAY.

Easy to use booking. No fuss entry & exit from car park....brilliant.

in the evening I couldn't leave, I had paid for parking in advance, the staff didn't want to help me, I had to buy a ticket online again because it was time to finish, the hotline was closed because it was the weekend so I never use it again. It took me 1 hour to leave the parking lot

It is easy to book the parking Reasonable cost. Number recognition and so it's drive in and out. I wasn't happy on the day of parking as the top levels of car park is blocked off so there is limited of spaces. This should be recognised and let people know so it wouldn't be over booked. Nothing worse then you going to an event, came early to find parking but ending up being late to the event when parking is not available

Postcode didn't take us to the car park so we had to pay to use another place

First time using the app, really impressed. I was sceptical the anpr system on the barriers would work, but it did, as did the QR code for entry back in. Would definitely use the car park again (large spaces on 3rd floor, lots of room, perfect location for the m&s arena.

Having pre booked and pre paid, the barrier would not let me enter the car park. I then had to take a ticket and pay again. Not good on a wedding day. Very, very unhappy!
