Parking on Briar Road, NW2

All fine in the end. The space is actually off Mora rd - not Briar. Very narrow gate - about 20mm spare of wing mirrors

When I arrived it was not clear where to park. It seemed that No 6 Briar Road had no drive. I looked round the corner to find 6A did have a drive. It was very narrow and had an overgrown laurel bush which meant parking was very difficult. I did not think it an appropriate space but managed to park. On my return a man had parked his car over the driveway. He challenged me, saying I had parked in his drive. I explained I had used Just Park but he seemed not to understand. He said it was a bad area, that someone had been stabbed in that road recently and he thought my parking there was a threat to him. Through discussion it seemed likely that I should have parked in the nearby drive which was closed with iron gates. This driveway is in Mora Road, not Briar Road. Altogether I felt most uncomfortable with the whole experience. As an older woman on my own I'm not sure I would use Just Park again. Kathleen Donaldson
