Parking on Elderfield Road, E5

The parking space wasn't available when I got there. Called and messaged space owner got no response. Also tried calling Just park customer support but couldn't get through

Avoid at all costs! If I could give this car parking space zero stars I would. The space is advertised as being for two cars but it's absolutely tiny. I booked the space in good faith so I could attend an important antenatal appointment at Homerton hospital with my husband. When we arrived there was already a car parked on the left hand side and just enough room for us to squeeze our car in on the right. While there was hardly any space between the cars, we checked the other car and confirmed there was enough space for the driver to get it from the passenger side (not ideal but our car was in the same position). Ten minutes after parking I received a call from the space owner demanding we return to move the car because the other driver couldn't access their car. She was extremely rude on the phone, demanding that either my husband or I return to move the car, even after I explained I was 9 months pregnant and waiting to see the midwife. Sure enough when we arrived back at the end of our allotted time the other car had left so there was clearly enough space. The space itself is also filled with rubbish and overgrown weeds which doesn't help the lack of space. Ultimately a bad experience from start to finish.

Good spot location wise but full of rubbish and I stepped in broken glass trying to get out the car (very tight space).

I got to the road and no.19 already had a parked vehicle outside!! And what made it worse there is free parking after Friday evenings!!! So not a good first time experience!!

The space is unsuitable for a large car or van if another vehicle is also parked in the opposite parking slot.

The Space left available means you have to negotiate a stiff weed / small tree that scratches your car,,,,and when we arrived there were bags and boxes of rubbish including glass bottles in sodden cardboard boxes that fell apart when moved, plus a metal bedframe at the back of the space. Way overpriced - so may I suggest the owner cuts the foliage and spends the extra money garnered from the overpricing and invest in some cameras to help reduce what I can only presume is fly tipping and or get out there and clear & tidy the space themselves if they want to continue charging for it.

I had to ring the Parking owner twice to find out the exact location and also to query the size of the vehicle space. The parking owner was extremely responsive and polite and very helpful. However, the description of the parking space is not accurately reflected. The photo shows a very large space, however, when I arrived there, another vehicle was parked there. I had to squeeze my vehicle next to the other car. There was no way a passenger could've got out of my vehicle on the other side; I had to literally squeeze out from the driver's door. Also, there was a large weed protruding from the side of the wall which I had to drive over to park. Very happy to send pictures of the parking space and my vehicle parked there to demonstrate. The location of the space is excellent for a visit to the hospital, however, I think it should be accurately reflected to state that it is suitable for a small vehicle. More clearer instructions should also be included on the location. The roads there are all one way, and there are also some roads which have a dead end. I had to drive around twice and work out a way to enter the right side of the road; as the postcode given leads you to a part of the road, where it is one way and you cannot reach the parking spot.

The driveway was filled with rubbish, and overgrown bushes make it hard to fit two cars. It was tight to have a small SUV next to the mini parked there. Great location for the hospital but not a well maintained space.
