Glass Mill Leisure Centre Car Park

Rough sleepers in the stairwell on the car park. Abandoned clothing and bedding.

Parking bays were too small, the stair wells stank. There were rough sleepers taking up a lot of the floor space in the stair wells. Sign posts were poor.

Car park is filthy, spaces are tight and if you get all the way to the top and there are no spaces, it's almost impossible to turn around with a queue behind you as it's just a dead end.

The parking place is dirty, someone has clearly been sleeping rough there and using the stairwell for their business. It doesn't feel safe

Very dirty

The car park stair wells were full of homeless peoples belongings, the sheer amount of belongings there was, was a clear sign that people had been or are currently living in the stairwells of the car park. This did not make us feel safe parking to use the leisure centre with our 4 month baby. On top of this, neither myself nor my partner could access any phone signal inside the car park, meaning we had to pay for our parking upon exit of the car park via the Just Park app, which has now resulted in a £100 fine from Gemini Parking, despite having paid for an extra hour of parking time upon exit of the car park. I am now in the process of challenging the fine with Gemini parking and will ensure they do not receive a penny of our money for their awful car park services.
