Entered the car park to find no space. Had to wait 20 plus minutes for someone to leave. No help from online and unable to locate contact number for space holder on booking

ENTRANCE TO THE CAR PARK WAS BLOCKED WHEN I ARRIVED MEANING THAT I HAD TO FIND ALTERNATIVE PARKING IN THE AREA. I DID EVENTUALLY MANAGE TO ACCESS THE PARKING SPACE BUT MORE CARS BLOCKED THE ENTRANCE THROUGHOUT THE DAY MEANING THAT I HAD NO CERTAINTY ABOUT EXITING

I had the most horrendous experience with JustPark on Monday November 14th. . Bookin. I had booked this location for my car as I was taking my friend for a medical appointment at King’s College Hospital. Firstly, access was blocked by a lorry delivering scaffolding poles but they very kindly moved their lorry for me. Then, the code supplied for the key pad didn’t work. The gate clicked but did not move a centimetre. We tried endlessly but in vain. We then phoned the help number provided and got absolutely nowhere with that-we were given 2 alternative codes that also didn’t work. We were then put on hold but the agent did not return to the call. Fortunately for us, the owner of the site drove past and saw my car parked as if to enter the locked site. He stopped to see what was going on, pointed his key fob at the gate and it opened straightaway, meaning that the keypad ‘is not talking to the gate’ and , hence, is causing the problem. By this time, we were getting dangerously close to my friend’s appointment time at the hospital. On our return to the car, at 12.15, once again we were unable to open the vehicular gate. The pedestrian gate opened fine. Again and again and again, we tried putting in the code provided and nothing happened. Again, we phoned the helpline and again we were given alternative codes which didn’t work. There was horrendous noise from the guys putting up the scaffolding and my friend, who has a brain injury, was getting really distressed by the noise and ‘imprisonment’. The agent we spoke to eventually ( after half an hour’s call), told us that she’d have to hang up in order to call the owner and ask him to come and let us out and promised to phone back once she’d done so. I am still waiting for that return call 2 days later. Eventually, I discovered that the scaffolders had the owner’s phone number and he called him to ask him to come to let us out. We waited a further half hour for the owner to arrive and, in the meantime, we were having to ensure the horrendous noise of drills, scaffolding etc. Even the agent on the phone remarked that the noise was hurting her head. All in all, it was a horrendous experience. It made me late getting to another appointment in the afternoon, as we were stuck there for well over an hour and yet JustPark pride their company on “No faffing, no wasted minutes. Just quick and easy reservable parking so you can enjoy your day”. Chance would have been a fine thing. “ No wasted minutes”????? We waited for over AN HOUR to be released. The fact that the agent did not phone us back and that, on both entry and exit, we had to resolve this issue ourselves, at a distressing time and causing huge problems, is totally unacceptable.
