Rear Of St Giles House Hotel Car Park

If you park here, do check in at hotel reception as if I hadn't they would have had no record of my car numberplate or booking (ie my permission to be in their car park). Also, I had to show proof I'd booked for more than 24 hours, as they said that was usually the maximum time allowed. I might have received a fine if they hadn't seen this information and noted it. Finally, the hotel told me that they could never guarantee a space as it is the hotel residents' car park, and there's nothing they can do once it's full. It's in a great location, but pre-paid/pre-booked parking shouldn't be this stressful.

Really difficult to find

I could not get to the parking space. There were road closures and I kept getting rerouted all around Norwich. I ran out of time and had to park in a car park.

Impossible to find! Ended up giving up & parking in a multi-storey

Nightmare to find on Google maps or car satnav had part of the journey walking to access had to give up as was gonna be late to appointment

Didn't use as couldn't find parking space used Google maps from just park booking. Ended up paying £5.50 to use another car park

The instructions of where to park are not good enough. It should be much more specific. There was a photo but it didn't tell you whether to drive through and park in that car park (belonging to a hotel) or in the 2 different private parking areas outside. We parked in the hotel car park who were extremely understanding as it wasn't the first time. As I had paid, they did not charge me either.

You need to be on Potters gate, just search the road not the post code given otherwise you'll be at the front entrance to St Giles hotel and then you will need to go all the way around, not very well sign posted, its easiest to get to by going down the one way "St Benedicts St", turn onto st Margaret's St then turn right and follow it round onto wellington LN then turn onto Potter gate, it's about half way down go slow or you'll miss the St Giles sign post, when you enter it's the car park on the far right. it has an ANPR camera system so you will have to check your vehicle in with the hotel at reception, no cost, they have a tablet just put your reg in on the front desk and that's it. Its probably the worst carpark for finding and then having to register your vehicle at the hotel because of the camera system, however it is very secure.

Directions to the car park aren't good enough. The car park has a different postcode to the hotel. The photo is of little use. Directions need to say that the entrance is on Pottergate and then to turn right once you've left Pottergate

All good except post code doesn’t get you to car park. A more detailed description of the roads in the last 200m would help.
