I got a penalty notice even after I paid more hours than I needed

Before booking it was showing it as the nearest parking 5 minutes away from my destination. After paying I fell sceptical and then tried the distance from the parking to the destination on Google maps, 16 minutes. Feel like I got ripped off. Nothing against the parking but feels like the app was dishonest. Had to book an Uber instead. And don't think I can get this refunded.

Im sorry i came 30 minutes late, i dont mind to pay the difference, but i dont want a penalty for this, i have a issue on my way back to the car.

Didn't feel secure lack of cameras
Minimum time of 12 hours when I was only there for 4 hours and ended up paying £8 for just a few hours when there's free parking on the road round the corner which has same level of security
