The owner of the car park space selling one car space for two cars and making a fortune from public. Arrived for the time to park and saw another posh electric car parked and taking more than car space which reduced my parking space so i decided not to get any scratch on the new car parked near me.( I tried to come out from the car 4 times however unable to open the door due to lack of space so I have make it an angle to get out of my car( each time i took my car out and in) , which ended up one of the rear wheel on top of his pathway slate due to lack of space, when I come back to pick up my car he blocked me with another car in front of me and asked to pay the cracked tile on his pathway where my rear car wheel was. He asked me first £100 and further negotiated with £60 then i handed over my card details , later his partner came from the property and asked me £125 for changing a slate (75x50 ), Which I said it will get maximum £18to £20. She was adamant that I have to pay ( My three young kids were standing in the Southampton port under the poring rain when they de embarked from the ship by 7 am.)i told them i have to leave. I begged him to move the car however she was not in agreement with him , finally he asked me £80 and the i said no and insisted him to take to further action if he wish to, however he was finally agreed for £70 to release my car, I already paid for 5 nights for £32 through just park and booked this at least four weeks in advance , I asked him to send the invoice however he did not send anything. So please don't use this car park anymore , one space however he selling for two cars so either you will end up in more scratches in your car or dispute after your long holiday which will accept all family . please avoid this parking …. Total i paid £103 for 5 nights you will get a better space near to the port which is convenient and secured
