I accidentally booked for too long and the app did not have facility to change the time - as a result I was charged an excessive amount for what was in effect a days parking

It should have been made clearer before payment that the parking here is reserved to registered vehicles only. It's not at all clear that this is the case and by the time I'd realised I'd already paid for four hours despite moving to an alternative parking location.

I was only at the university to return a book. I was in there about 7-10 minutes and still had a pay for an hour. I think that's taking some liberties mind.
