£4 for parking and then £0.89 in fees? is atrocious but had no other option as you have reduced the time to only 90 mins and removed the free parking after 6pm. We returned to our car after a busy Late Night Market to pitch black darkness as there were no lights! This is dangerous and extremely unsafe.
I work in the market & the parking is becoming a problem, people used to enjoy shopping and having a bite to eat before they headed home. Now they only have time for their shopping. We are a small little market that relies on people coming to shop. But many are saying they may aswell go to a retail park as it’s either FREE or they have 3 hours.
I know there are other car parks but a lot of the people coming to the market are older & find other car parks to far away.
Can park at Morrisons 3hrs and if you need longer to pay it’s only £1.90.
I seriously think this needs looking into as you will be ruining businesses soon enough.
