With the car park now pay and display, you don't know exactly how long you will be. When you arrive back a lot earlier than planned you can't recall the hour payment that you haven't used. A form of theft in my opinion!

It is a complete and utter disgrace that this has changed to a more expensive parking system and it is preventing people using the town as often as they might. I, for one, will no longer ever park there. The town is dying as it is and it was a straw which broke the camels back. I used to park there every Friday morning to go to the hairdresser across the road. I was furious and have told her that I will be doing my own hair from now on. I also used to go into the coffee shop near there And I was a regular. And also giving that up. The parking charges are utterly ridiculous shame on Cornwall council
