Piccadilly Car Park

Took 5 attempts to get through the barrier into the car park. On the way out today the open barrier on the app didn't work (tried many times). I had to get out of the car to enter the open barrier pin (impossible if I was driving by myself) and wait for it to open so my husband could drive out and join me. Not at all impressed with entering and exiting the car park.

I choose this location due to its proximity to our hotel, unfortunately the code given to us didn’t work and the emergency code also didn’t work, when I called the helpline the very helpful lady gave me a code which still didn’t work! After a period of waiting on hold the lady managed to find a code which worked. Great location for the hotel but our first experience wasn’t great but we managed to over come the initial problem.

The entrance is marked no entry. There were no other obvious entrances. It is not clear how you are supposed to enter if the barrier ( the exit )is down. Fortunately the barrier was up. Its also a one was street.

Look at the map before you go there as sat nav might guide you to entry on the other side of the building. Otherwise brilliant.

Everything was just perfect for our 3 day stay in York, comunication from Just Park, location and ease of use, would definitely use again.

So easy to book and don't have to find somewhere to park

Great experience with no problems however glad our car is only small as the two spaces left wouldn't have fit a bigger car.

Ideal location

Very easy to book on line, visual view of area of the parking spot I wanted before actually booking. Easy to get receipts just in case there was a problem! Will definitely use in the future.
