Coldplay is returning to the UK in 2025 for the next leg of their ‘Music of the Spheres’ World Tour, following a hugely successful series of global shows over the past few years.
The tour will feature ten nights at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium, and two dates at the more surprising choice which is Craven Park in Hull. While fans are delighted to have a more intimate (compared to Wembley) venue chosen for the tour, it’s also brought on fears that securing tickets will be more difficult for these dates. Their upcoming performances promise a mix of their latest hits from Music of the Spheres alongside fan favourites from their extensive discography.
As sales have just opened up, here's our advice for securing the best and cheapest parking spaces near Craven Park Stadium for the Coldplay concert in Hull:
How to get tickets to Coldplay in Hull
When do tickets go on sale?
Coldplay ticket sales begin Friday, 27th September 2024 on Ticketmaster. Some presale codes have already been released for priority or VIP access members — you may notice resale prices for anyone who has decided to re-list their purchased tickets.
Craven Park Stadium (also known as Sewell Group Craven Park) only has a seating capacity of just over 12,000 and there are only two tour dates scheduled for this location, so tickets will be harder to secure for these gigs.
How much do Coldplay tickets cost?
General admission standing tickets are priced at £110 per ticket (plus the usual Ticketmaster fees). Seats are priced between £55 to £165 per ticket.
Where else are they playing?
While Coldplay are putting on 12 concerts across August and September 2025, they’ve chosen two key cities: Hull and London. The rest of their shows outside of Hull will take place at Wembley Stadium on 22, 23, 26, 27, 30, 31 August and 3, 4, 7 and 8 of September 2025.
Book a parking space ahead of time for Coldplay near the stadium
The official stadium website for the concert has warned that “official car parking options will be limited” and that road closures will possibly be put into place around the venue, so it’s strongly recommended to find alternative parking.
To make sure you don’t end up overpaying at a pop-up car parking area or an unsecured parking scam, it’s safest and often cheapest to use JustPark to find a verified space on a neighbour’s driveway or in a nearby car park. Not only will it save you time and money on the day-of, but it will also give you guaranteed access to a parking space near Hull and can offer flexibility that other traditional car parks can’t.
Using the JustPark app or website, you can search, find and reserve a space which should tick most of your boxes when looking for parking:
- You can search for spaces within walking distance of the stadium and get more affordable rates than local car parks or unsecured pop-up parking
- You can escape the crowds more easily leaving your car in a slightly less congested area
- You can extend your parking session easily through the JustPark app if you’re facing delays getting out of the stadium crowds or if they extend their set for another encore (Coldplay do love to put on a long show!)
- You can have peace of mind knowing that you’ve got a guaranteed parking space upon arrival and that it’s in safe hands with a community member who cares
This tour is expected to be very popular, so we recommend booking a parking space as soon as your tickets are secured so you don’t miss out on available options. If you’re travelling from out of town and will be staying multiple nights in Hull, make sure you extend your parking session for as long as you need it for.

Do you live in Hull? Rent out your driveway for extra income
Even if you’re not attending the tour yourself, you can still benefit from the surge of crowds coming into the city to see Coldplay. It’s been proven that local residents who live nearby busy sports or music venues see their annual income increase by 57% by renting out their driveways to event goers, be it sports fans or music enthusiasts.
If you’re a homeowner near Craven Park Stadium and have a driveway with extra space, simply rent out your driveway to earn a side income and benefit those in need of car parking; it’s as easy as that. You can set your availability and pricing so you’re in full control of your space.
